Eligibility Criteria for UPPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2025
Educational Qualification
- General Subjects (Sociology, Civics, History, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, etc.):
✔ Post-Graduate Degree in relevant subject + B.Ed. (recognized by NCTE). - Special Lecturer (Visually Handicapped/Samekit Schools):
✔ PG in subject + Special B.Ed./M.Ed. in relevant disability field (recognized by RCI).
✔ Knowledge of Braille/Sign Language.
✔ Mandatory RCI Registration. - Jail Training School Lecturers:
✔ PG in Psychology/Criminology/Anthropology/Sociology/Social Work with specialization in Criminology, Penology, or Criminal Psychology.

- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 40 years
- Age Relaxation:
• 5 years – SC/ST/OBC of U.P.
