Salary of IBPS SO 2025

Nationality

  • Citizen of India or
  • Subject of Nepal/Bhutan or
  • Tibetan refugee settled in India before 1st January 1962 or
  • Person of Indian origin from select countries (with eligibility certificate)

Age Limit (as on 1st July 2025)

  • Minimum: 20 years
  • Maximum: 30 years

Relaxation in upper age:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: 5 years

IBPS SO 2025 Exam Pattern

A. Prelims Exam (Duration: 2 hours)

For Law Officer & Rajbhasha Adhikari:

  • English Language – 50 Qs – 25 Marks
  • Reasoning – 50 Qs – 50 Marks
  • General Awareness (with Banking) – 50 Qs – 50 Marks

For IT, Agriculture, HR, Marketing Officers:

  • English Language – 50 Qs – 25 Marks
  • Reasoning – 50 Qs – 50 Marks
  • Quantitative Aptitude – 50 Qs – 50 Marks

B. Main Exam (Professional Knowledge – 45 minutes)

  • All Posts (except Rajbhasha): Objective Questions – 60 Marks
  • Rajbhasha: Objective (45 Qs) + Descriptive (2 Qs) – 60 Marks

Interview Process

  • Conducted by participating banks
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Minimum Qualifying: 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD)
  • Final Selection Weightage: 80% (Mains) + 20% (Interview)
