Eligibility Criteria – Who Can Apply?
Before you apply, make sure you meet all the eligibility conditions:
Nationality
- Indian Citizen, or
- Subject of Nepal, or
- PIOs from select countries intending permanent settlement in India.
Educational Qualification
- Engineering graduates or students in the final year of their degree (final results must be available before 1st April 2026).
- CGPA must be converted to marks as per university guidelines.

Selection Process – Step by Step
1. Shortlisting of Applications
- Based on cut-off percentage set by the Army per stream.
2. SSB Interview
- Conducted at Allahabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, and Jalandhar.
- Two-stage process: Stage 1 (Screening), Stage 2 (Psychology, GTO, Interview).
- Final medical exam for recommended candidates.
3. Merit List
- Based on SSB marks only, not based on written exam.

- Duration: 49 weeks
